This is the perfect hook to let my 10ft retina know I'm not feeling well after eating. I've tried many different hooks and this is the only one that really worked. This is a good length for indoor use and allows me to be nimble when needed. Please note that I don't lift the entire weight of the snake and I don't recommend lifting a 40lb snake with a hook lol. I use it to maneuver and redirect the snake out of its feeding area so my hand doesn't look like food.
