Best for very low viscosity liquids

I wouldn't use these for undiluted essential oils. These oils are not viscous enough to turn into the mist this pump creates. I bought it for very dilute liquids, mostly 90% alcohol, water or a thin mixture of white glue and water. (75% water, 25% white glue.) All of these liquid mixtures are very well suited for their respective purposes. I use water to moisten various things (e.g. the fabric of a model airplane so it stretches) as well as to stiffen or protect things (which will be thinned). white glue will do) and is also an antiseptic with alcohol. Fine mist can be better controlled so you don't get clumps or spots than with most other sprayers. Liquids that are about two or three times more than water are likely to clog it. I would not recommend oils as this is plastic and some oils can damage plastic. Highly diluted white glue is closest to the maximum viscosity I would use. If you use oils, try diluting them with alcohol. When used for low viscosity liquids they work very well. If you need something for thicker liquids, I'd go for something that doesn't have that fine atomization. If you don't want to spray anything, they're a good container with a relatively small opening. Some places sell pipettes that may work as well. But I would cut off the inner tube first.
