Review on Kennel Aire A Frame Bunny House by Angela Floyd

Good for what it is, consider all of your pets needs before purchasing.

I like this cage the way it is. A small pin to fix the animal. It's light but strong enough. One complaint was that while I bought the smallest water bottle I could find for my rabbit, I had to mount it fairly high on the wall so the rabbit could drink without his head touching the floor. The top of the bottle lifts part of the cap. Nothing particularly bad, but still a bit annoying. I hope that before purchasing this cage, people will consider that it is not large enough to be your rabbit's primary living space. Hopefully when you buy this cage you plan to bring your rabbit into your home or yard for a few hours each day to exercise. If you put food and water, the rabbit will have no place to play. Additionally, wire flooring is good for keeping a rabbit clean, but not ideal for comfort. Luckily, you can buy grass mats right here on Amazon for a few dollars each. Our rabbit loves to lie on it and if he scratches or chews on it, we don't have to worry about his health. Each grass mat only lasts a few weeks before you need to replace it. Also, if you live in a rural area, keep in mind that such a cage is best kept indoors. If a predator tries to get into the cage, I doubt it will be strong enough to keep the predator out. Most people don't need to worry about that, but I've considered leaving the rabbit on the porch during the summer months, but I don't think that's an option with this cage. Wire flooring is also a problem if you have dogs or other pets that might startle your rabbit. Their toenails get caught easily on the ground when they are scared and they can break their toes. In contrast to a real cage, the animal has nowhere to hide, so the cage's wire floor puts it at an increased risk of injury.
