This is a good device. But there are a few things you need to remember. Firstly, do NOT expect it to be a miracle cure. and it needs to be set up properly for it to work well. and don't expect higher bars. Just more stable. It also measures approximately 10 inches wide. Here's what I found out after using it for about 2 weeks. I use mine with ZTE Warp Connect on the Sprint network. Since ZTE doesn't use a USB connector but uses a standard Android micro USB connector I just use my cable and my ZTE device mounts in front of the USB part there and only have antennas attached to it as the antenna doesn't come with Powered , no need to use a connected USB cable if you don't want to. In my case, it didn't work well for me. Before using I had 1 bar mostly fixed, sometimes 2 bars on my device. Still the same reception, but what I've actually noticed is that it keeps my connection much more stable. Where the connection used to break more often, it now holds up much better. Also, I get much better download speeds. I used to be able to max out at 4MB and that was on the high side and if I'm lucky. Now I've almost doubled the speed. I just ran 7 tests and got 5.8, 5.9, 6 download speeds of 0.5, 8.9, 9.2, 9.6 and 9.7 Mb. This happened between 7pm and 7.30pm so you can imagine the traffic jam at that time too and now there is only 1 bar operation. Much better if they are lucky enough to get 4MB beforehand. A few things to look out for can be very helpful. First, try to find out where the cell tower is located. I think the better you can aim it straight at the turret, the better. Just sometimes moving an inch to the right or left, up or down 1/4 inch can make a big difference. Finding the best angle can take a few minutes, but once you set it up, you don't have to do anything else. It's a one-time thing, but it can change everything in the world. Especially if you don't. I don't get good reception like me. Overall it works. But for the price and knowing it's not an active antenna, that's to be expected. If you need something for a longer range, I suggest buying an antenna with an amplifier. But expect to pay four times (or more) what it's worth. For my needs I think it works well, so I'm pretty happy with it.
