bought as a present at the turn of the year to my niece, who is studying beautician, gave it to her today and she took it for a "test drive" on me! According to her, she likes light scissors and they cut very well. the cape and hairbrush were fine, almost as good as the cheap ones you could get at Walmart or Sally's. Aside from that, she said these tools give her a secure and professional feel, and the carrying case makes it easy to organize and carry them in her purse anywhere because it keeps everything together. Overall I recommend this set for the price and quality (and the way my haircut looked) especially for those who are just starting out in haircuts or are cutting their hair at home.
