These emergency lights are ideal for use in corridors. The main issue I had was that while they looked like the devices I had to replace, they were smaller than the old ones. So much so that in most cases the standard cutout for the electrical box in the wall behind the unit is larger than the new fixture. Literally 1/2 inch more width would make a big difference. A lot of time saved when filling and painting. The plastic dowels supplied for assembly are no longer required. It's just better to buy triggers at the hardware store. The luminous flux is not sufficient to illuminate large rooms. I would like to see a more powerful Lumen version. Better LEDs and a slightly more powerful battery and you have a good machine.
