The battery lasts about 2 weeks with normal use on a single charge. If you use other features like the heart rate monitor, it will last about 1 week on a single charge. Charging takes about 2 hours. The altimeter is in no way inferior to Casio. The compass is accurate from my use. When worn, the thermometer is about 10-15 degrees above the ambient temperature. Taking the watch off will give a good temperature reading, but it may take 30 minutes. My watch is green with a positive reading. The weather/pressure reading is wrong, it's raining now, but the clock shows partly sunny. I may have to adjust it. The watch is good for the price. I would love to see reviews comparing this watch to the more expensive ABC watches. The HB monitor looks accurate. I use the HB monitor for workouts. I noticed a slight change in heart rate, about 10 beats, from arm at side versus chest/neck height.
