It's easy to put on and covers most of the top. The instructions were very limited but easy to understand. Claims that it can be left on without affecting the hard or soft top. However, as you can see, the bungee itself touches the hard head screw and catches on it with every rotation. If you take your top on and off regularly, I'd be willing to replace that elastic because of the clicking/chafing when you put your top on and off, or replace it with paracord, which is much thinner and just as strong. Also be prepared for a fight with the front latches, I had to squeeze and pull/push the mesh like crazy to depress/secure the latch, not a big deal but definitely a pain in the ass. Editing since the product was originally installed....after installing the product and removing and installing the liberty top fairings, the passenger front hub only detached from the material once and there was a noticeable flex in the front rider area.
