This compartment is located on the middle compartment above the red power buttons. It's 8" deep in my 9" deep wall mount network rack. This rack is used to store and power my audio equipment. The length is perfect to leave room at the back for cable management with my SCHIIT gear. One of the ears was bent out of the box and I bent it back. Very happy with it. [I did not use the aged nuts that came with it. When needed they worked well]
