Edit: I saw a very small rainbow effect, but nothing like the promotional photos. Generally if you need a rainbow look for something else. If you don't care or don't want the effect, this will work. For the price I paid, around $7, I'm happy with the product. The instructions were on a roll and pretty basic. I cleaned the glass with a steam cleaner and wet the window with a steam cleaner before applying. Not as private as I would like, I feel like someone who presses their face against the window can still see safely. I don't think that happens often, so it should be fine. I can't say anything about the rainbow effect yet, but hopefully we'll see more tomorrow morning.
