I used it last week and it was great. I have gradually replaced my plastic Cat5e cables with Cat8. Although my transfer speed hasn't changed on my home network, this Cat8 is very well built. The RJ45 connector is metal, NOT plastic. I'm sure this plug will last a very long time. The wire is tight and doesn't look like it will ever come loose from the connector. The wire is flat and easily rolls under the carpet when needed. The cable was packaged very well and even the plugs were wrapped in a plastic sleeve to protect them from damage. They are made in China, it's harder for me to find something made elsewhere. Preferably made in America. Aside from that, so far so good with this cat8. Thank you for contacting us.
