I have several of these and like them better than the hard cases that usually come with better power tool sets due to the flexibility to build your own set . Makita's systainers use an old-style locking mechanism that's pretty impractical compared to Festool's new T-Loc systainers, but they're half the price. A newer style can be superimposed on an old one, but not vice versa. They seem less durable to me compared to some other systems, like the Milwaukee Packout, but I've never had a single failure and appreciate the lighter weight and smaller footprint, but the YMMV does.
