I usually wash my face with a mild cleanser and then apply some Dr. Hauschka eye make-up remover on a cotton swab to get rid of the remaining make-up. I was always surprised how much cream remains on my eyes after washing. My eyes seem clear and then I use a remover and the color is much lighter. Reinforces for me that it's worth taking the extra step and making sure my face is flawless at bedtime before applying my serums and moisturizer. It's oily but doesn't irritate my photosensitive skin or break out.
