So in the past I've only used Logitech mice because they've been around for years, they've been reliable, and I love the pooling feature. However, I've found recently that they've gotten a lot more expensive and have an annoying tendency to be overly sensitive to scrolling. I was in the market to buy a cheap basic wireless mouse and everything I saw from Logitech was bulky and inexpensive. All I needed was a mouse for my desktop that did basic things, didn't need back and forward buttons or open the start menu. There I found the HP Z3700 mouse. I've been using it for a day now and I love it. It's light, simple and does everything I need. It's also very thin and fits in my bag when I need to take my laptop to the office. The best part is that if it breaks or gets lost it only costs $12 compared to my other $40+ Logitech mice. Win for simplicity. I can't comment on the battery life or overall reliability. However, what I like is the fact that it uses AA batteries. One less worry about charging.
