Review on HISDERN Handkerchief Classic Necktie Pocket Men's Accessories ~ Ties, Cummerbunds & Pocket Squares by Mark Williams
NOT Silk, Fire Tested
Like many others, I was curious if this 100% silk tie was actually silk. The best and easiest way to determine this is to do a fire test and I did it on a pocket square. The result is in the attached photo. As you can see this is NOT silk. Instead of burning and turning to ash, the material turned into black balls. The smell was definitely plastic. The material is not silk, the description is not correct.
