About half dry before opening - choose another brand

I expected a lot more from B&L. About half of the ones I've tried have dried up. I can really feel the difference between wet and dry even before opening them. The outside of bags that are still wet are slightly colder than room temperature. And in use, wet ones can be slightly damp to quite wet, but they are never wet. Dried packets are at room temperature. They have to be rubbed for a long time in use to get rid of any stains and I think the lenses somehow attract dirt after cleaning. the appearance of the box and on the bags themselves - nada. There was a coded number on the bottom of the box (B00433343) but I don't know what that means. The outside of the box was badly scratched. I think I've solved the mystery of why some of them are dry and some aren't. On the edges of small individual packets there are special small cuts on the edges just above the words "TEAR HERE". I suppose the slits are somehow out of register and barely penetrate the inner pocket for wet papers to dry.
