Bought to replace parts of a Dyson DC17 that someone left on the street and I saved. I mean it's a Dyson! The previous owner didn't clean the vacuum well and used it a lot for pets, so the motor barely ran. My husband disassembled the vacuum and ordered this and other items to fix the Dyson. It worked great! After assembling and soaking the parts of the machine that could be soaked in coffee grounds water, the vacuum works great, like a new Dyson for $499 + tax! And to think someone just threw it away.
