I used this to fit a 312 LED to my Ronin-M. Maybe I had a malfunction, but I just couldn't get it to spin in a mess. It seems that no matter how hard I tighten the single lever, it always turns on the bottom bearing. light less than 2 pounds. So I don't think it was an undue burden. Instead, I opted for a GyroVu cold shoe mount with a Manfrotto mini ball head. Thanks worked very well. Never moved at all. The only problem is that I can't put it in front of the monitor. Something I hoped would be accomplished. I'd love to reply if anyone found a better solution than mine, but I can tell you it's very very reliable at the moment. So yes, stay away from it, it will bother you while you need an injection.
