A simple rubber coaster. The stand is made of black grooved rubber. It's not absorbent at all, but the ridges do trap water in the cup holder. Over time, enough condensation can accumulate and you may need to turn off or dry the stand. However, there is no chance that it will leak. My coaster lasts more than a few iced drinks before I get worried. The groove design of the coaster prevents it from getting stuck in the bottom of the glass or cup like traditional lightweight coasters do. The rubber material also has a good grip on the table surface so it doesn't slip at all. It comes with a black wire holder that is slightly larger than the diameter of the stands. It's not the most fashionable thing and I'm sure no one will be impressed by it. It does its job, and as for the rubber coasters, I'm guessing you won't impress your guests anyway. These are good coasters, nothing special. does the job.
