Firstly if you buy this make sure you get one with a rubber insert, this increases security against the phone falling out. In fact my phone fell off this thing at least 3 times because sometimes I forget to put the rubber piece on but I think it's because my case isn't the strongest in the world and it slips out of the clip. Also this thing is a beast, all metal and solid, I knocked my bike over a couple of times and it got hit and the phone holder was fine with just a few scratches. Thanks to the rubber mount, your phone is as secure as possible, it won't fall out. Without a rubber piece, some phone cases can result in your phone just falling out as the clamp arms aren't that high at all. All in all a great product, don't buy plastic that breaks in the same place as all other plastic, get this one.
