I used this with my Ender 3 v2 as an oil can (with rapeseed oil) for my all metal hot end which I know is a bit controversial. I've used this with both 1.75mm pla+ and 92a TPU flex filament. Both worked without problems. The main disadvantage is that you can only insert filament through the foam, it really needs to be disconnected so you can attach it to your filament without having to reset the printer. I have since modified it by cutting the foam with a knife but this should be taken into account by the manufacturer.
