Review on Beautiful Connemara Marble Gold Plate Cufflinks by Jason Bolden

Nice cufflinks BUT. The marble is much lighter than shown, as is the gilding. In person, they look a lot softer than the bold green and gold cufflinks seen online. The packaging was also unexpectedly disappointing: no protective box, just a tiny plastic bag inside a thin felt pouch, wrapped in a pimply envelope; Also, both cufflinks were thrown together in a tiny plastic bag, not even separated to avoid possible scratches. The gilding also appears to have scratches, or perhaps a tiny drop of glue located on the gilding opposite the marble itself; Again, this isn't an obstacle - it gives them a quasi-vintage look - but it's a noteworthy fact nonetheless. Don't get me wrong, I REALLY like them, especially given their strong Irish heritage - I just feel like they weren't advertised accurately or packaged with due care hence my mediocre rating. I recommend them, but with reservations.
