So far this cable has lasted the longest of the five. Just a little over 14 months for us. My 70lb GSD (climber) keeps breaking them! I liked how long it was and felt extremely durable right from the start. The clip was very awkward to attach/remove from the collar at times, but was very reliable. This cord is always left outside (my dogs are lap dogs) and the free end hangs on a hook by the patio door when not in use, causing the cord's coating to stretch and crack exposing the interior to the elements causing, that it burst when my boy reached the end today. While ours hasn't lasted as long as some people, I feel I got my money's worth and will likely buy another one. If I were to change anything about it, I'd make it a little longer (I'd like a good 50ft cable) and replace the clamps with something more manageable.
