Well done. Shouldn't have done that). I bought this to use in the midwest winter (freezing temperatures) and the soft/spongy part of the cover helps a lot, but the non-soft parts feel as cold to the touch as the original. The material of the wheel is therefore not ideal for preventing a feeling of cold (it's still better than nothing). It makes the wheel a lot thicker so it might not feel right depending on your hand size.
