This is the pepper mill I've been looking for my whole life. That's incredible. No mess with the included ground pepper container and large opening for adding peppercorns. With this device, as with most coffee grinders, you can grind a large amount of pepper without 1000 revolutions. They advertise 5 360° turns of the handle for 1/2 teaspoon, ie at the full coarse setting, which is probably too coarse for most. I like that it's quite thick, and in my settings it's about 7 360° turns for 1/2 teaspoon. Still very reasonable and a lot less work than any other grinder I've had for the money. The grind is fairly even, not perfect, good enough for most general culinary purposes. The build quality seems solid. Overall, this is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets and worth it if you love using peppers in your cooking!
