What can be said about this product to make reading engaging and engaging? Hmmm. Just take a look. This is a very attractive square extension! I put it on the table and thought how good it would look there. Then I started wiring things up and when I was done the great aesthetic of the cube was instantly lost. This is not a disparagement to the designer or the company that makes it, it is a disparagement to me for not thinking about how and where it would be used when I bought it. Basically I paid $18 for half the power strip (without surge protector) I could get if I went with the traditional type (Example A: http://a.co/d/elNp7J5). I'm not frustrated with that, after all it gets the job done with no issues and is small enough to sit where a conventional size wouldn't. If I hadn't been tempted by its shape, I would have gone for something more traditional given the price and intended use. Overall, this product gets 5/5 stars because it's built well, looks really good (as long as you're not using it, it's not the developer's fault), and works like any other power strip without a surge protector. I would recommend it but would encourage potential buyers to think about intended use before buying. Just to be clear there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it is very attractive and works well, but thinking about the intended use on my desk I would go for the traditional style because as you can see in the photo , Aesthetics are part of it lost because I put it down for the need it fills.
