WHINK works great in a regular old toilet if you know how to use it (may not work so well in new-fangled toilets). can be achieved with a normal peeling, with the exception of rust spots. Place one of these WHINK tablets in the tank as far away from the flush valve as possible. Leave the toilet overnight without flushing. Flush once the next morning and leave that water in the toilet for as long as possible. Now just use it as usual. It dissolves all the rust in the tank as well as in the bowl. Install a new one about every 3 months or sooner if you notice more rust. (WHINK only works on rust and hard water stains. You'll still need to clean the toilet as usual, but there won't be any more rust stains on it.) I've found this to be the only product that works well in our hard city water without the damaging the interior. We have three toilets and I order 2 boxes (12 tablets) once a year.
