I got the Kemei 1986 last week and was blown away. This is an amazing hair clipper that requires no modifications out of the box. I was so impressed that I ordered a Kemei 2850 modeled after a popular brand. They look great and feel great in hand but definitely need some modification before I can give them a thumbs up. The blade was a little crooked so I know I'll have to adjust it and I'll try to straighten it out today so maybe they live up to the hype, but for now the KEMEI 1986 is probably the best hair clipper I've ever owned would have . 25 years. I have owned Wahl Senior, Oster Fast Feed and various Walmart brands. I hope they live up to the YouTube reviews after adjusting the blades as I don't want to put a new blade on a new clipper. To update:. These 2850s are real indeed. I just adjusted the blade and the distance between them was zero. It was pretty easy. They also feel good in the hand and come with good protection. I just wouldn't recommend protection with a piece of metal that snaps in at the back. People seem to have trouble with this because of the hair clipper's powerful motor.
