Marmot is one of those brands that you just can't go wrong with. I have quite a few Marmot items including camping gear and a lot of adult clothing for me and my wife. This is our first Marmot gear geared towards kids and is just as impressive as the adult gear. The seams are double stitched. The quality of the material is excellent. Functionally, this jacket does not differ from the adult model, it is only smaller. Our eldest son wears it outside in "mixed" weather and keeps it warm enough on rainy days. This is not a cold weather jacket, but it works well over multiple base layers in cold weather. He likes the color and shape. That's a great jacket.
