This would have been a five star rating if it weren't for the packaging and the hassle of "unwrapping" the garland. I realize this is a cost savings, but I would spend an additional $1-2 to have a larger box and freer garland arrangement. The garland comes in a square box. To unroll and unroll, you really have to pull the branches up and sideways one at a time. That's a little disappointing for a new item because you're tired of breaking ornaments and decor. But this product is built pretty solidly, so don't worry about it too much. It usually takes about 10-15 strand adjustments before you can test unwinding the garland. It's wrapped like a burrito roll, tail to end, so it's easy to spread out the entire garland once you get started. Then all you have to do is adjust the branches so they don't lay so flat on the surface you intend to use.
