Review on Ansbell Magnetic USB C Adapter: High-Speed 100W Charging & 480Mb/s Data Transfer for MacBook Pro/Air and USB Type C Devices by Brandon Rogers

Like many MacBook users, I was disappointed that Apple removed the MagSafe charging cable feature from their MacBooks in 2016. This product replaces this missing feature in an elegant and convenient way. On the plus side: • Magnet strength is perfect, snaps in and out like the old MagSafe charge ports for the 2106 • LED indicates a connection has been made - again just like MagSafe used to be • Construction materials are high quality and feel nice . mates with rest of MacBook materials• Doesn't block second Thunderbolt port (for standard wired connection)• Part that connects to Mac doesn't fall out - it fits snugly, but can be removed with your fingers if needed. Cons: • The part that connects to the Mac protrudes from the computer, but since enough material is needed to magnetically connect the two parts, this is probably unavoidable since it's an additional solution. Overall very happy and would buy again - almost certainly as we have more MacBooks in our family and such.
