Review on π Pentair TLC 50 Composite Residential Replacement Filter by John Stowers
From 98% defective to 90% defective in 6 months
I am very disappointed with this Pentair TLC 50. After much research I bought this membrane because it is NSF certified, many remove it hazardous chemicals, which is not the case with many other membranes. The performance of this membrane is depressing. I have used high quality NSF certified Hydronix 5 micron and 1 micron carbon billets along with a sediment filter and yet this Pentair membrane went from 98% rejection when new to 90% rejection in just 6 months. . I will never buy a Pentair again.
