I deliberately waited a few days after starting this product to make sure it wasn't just hype. Here's the backstory you need to know. I have naturally curly hair, like Goldilocks or Shirley Temple curly hair - a bunch of curls. When I was old enough to "manage" my hair, so a teenager, I started trying to straighten my hair. It was a disaster. Over the years I've tried taming perms, chemicals, etc. to tame frizz and frizz. Now that I'm an adult, I have chemically treated hair (both colored and highlighted) and I've learned how to comb my hair properly, but haven't found anything to tame frizz. I still live in the south. Alabama football rules here, and the only thing that beats an Alabama football score is the humidity. It's ruthless and unrelenting. I can style my hair beautifully, step outside and see my work rolled up in minutes. I used this product on the day I washed my hair and also on a high humidity day and it worked great. The next day I didn't wash, used dry shampoo and was very pleased with the continued frizz control. On Day 3, the day I washed my hair in the rain and 100% humidity, I still used a little WOW and was amazed at how manageable my hair was. In short, this product is SUPER!
