Review on 🔳 RSVP White Marble Mortar and Pestle Set by Tara Taylor

After researching M&P in marble, stone and stainless steel to replace the smaller, cracked marble that has served me well for over 15 years, I settled on the RSVP Gorgeous Gray because of the size Marble Mortar & Pestle, reviews and reasonable price. My criteria included size, material and build quality, and user feedback: so I've written my review in a similar order, although that doesn't necessarily reflect the priority of the criteria, as I think they all carry equal weight. SIZE Perfect size for grinding spices on the stovetop. The mortar hole measures 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches deep so spices like coriander seeds will not pop out of the mortar like they do with the mortar. I replaced the smaller one. The 5 1/2" long pestle fits my hand well and feels well weighted, with a heavier, shredding end that is left rough and unpolished for efficient grinding. The pestle measures 1/2" at the top and grows at the rounded, crushing end to 1/4"; and the length allows for a comfortable and safe use and grip without banging your knuckles against the top of the pestle while grinding. Both the mortar and pestle feel (and look) very strong and durable, especially during use DESIGN AND QUALITY The overall design has proven itself very functional It turned out to be easy to set the mortar with one hand and use the pestle with the other: both the M&P feel well balanced, looks attractive and feels well constructed too Most of the critical reviews are from 2-4 years ago while the very positive reviews are the recent improvements genes seem to be reflected in design and quality. Polished to a pleasing shine, the sumptuous Gray Marble Mortar and Pestle is crafted from high quality marble and expertly finished. RECOMMENDATION The weight, depth, length, design, construction, quality of materials and appearance of the RSVP Gorgeous Gray Marble Mortar and Pestle earned it five stars from this very satisfied food reviewer. Highest recommendation and no regrets.
