I have to say I'm very impressed with the Rankie USB-C to USB-A's simple yet elegant form factor -High speed adapters! I was looking for a simple, reliable, and good quality USB-C to USB-A adapter for my phone and I think this is it! I use a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and Samsung is kind enough to actually include a USB-C to USB-A adapter in the box when buying a phone that can be used for a variety of purposes (mainly transferring of data from Iphone to Samsung). However, I was annoyed that the USB-C port only worked when the phone was not in a case. I use USB-C to USB-A adapters to quickly transfer data to and from my phone (e.g. to a USB flash drive) on the go. It becomes extremely annoying when you just have to take the phone out of the case. Use their patented adapter! The fight is finally over because the Rankie USB-C to USB-A High Speed Adapter is the perfect replacement, and best of all, it comes with two! The adapter has a small neck frame that creates some space between the USB-A adapter and the USB-C port, making it suitable for use when you have your phone in a pocket. I would give it a full 5 stars but I will say the USB-A port was a bit tight; This is usually good, but I found it too tight on first use. It almost felt like I had to force the USB drive into the port and I was concerned that I might damage my USB drive. I will say that after a few weeks of use it is working as you would expect. Don't be surprised if the adapter gets a little warm, even when transferring large amounts of data. Overall great value for a great product! Although I use this for my phone, it can be useful for various other devices such as laptops too!
