I often cook Japchae and all the vegetables in this dish are very thinly sliced. One vegetable that takes so much time and effort to cook is carrots. I've been trying to find quick and easy ways to slice carrots since I'm new to cooking, but it definitely takes a lot of time and skill. This vegetable cutter really makes this process that much easier. I don't have to spend 10 minutes slicing carrots. Instead, grind the carrot a few times on the blades and that's it! I used a 3mm grater to slice carrots. I also used a hand guard to protect my fingers because the blades are sharp. Carrots will mess up the shredder a bit, but using dish soap right away will wash it off like in my photos.
