My wife and I have been entering more events recently (triathlons, bike races, 5K's, 10K's, etc). We have accumulated quite a collection of swag / awards and just had them hanging on a couple of hooks in the garage while we tried to decide where / how to display them. But with this display hanger, we now have a perfect way to allow them to individually shine rather than hanging in a big clump.It is made of very sturdy metal. It seems like it will last forever. One thing I didn't realize is that the design / words are just cut out of the metal. There is no back to them. So when we place it on our black shelves in the garage, you really can't see the words or design. If you're hanging it on a wall or some other surface, it will just show through the cutouts. I think I will probably just add some kind of simple colored backing plate to provide some contrast if we keep it on the black shelves. But that's purely an aesthetic issue and nothing functional. If you are more concerned about the hooks than the design, then it won't be an issue either way. Very happy with this as it provides a perfect solution to a need we had.
