For the price, this is a good deal. I recently bought another brand of backlight for $7 more than this one and it was so bad I sent it back. buttons and pretty much the right brightness. Don't waste your money on these fancy 3 and 5 color backlit keyboards; I've had 2 of these and it's just a gimmick and a distraction; That single monochrome color is all you really need in a dimly lit room. So far very satisfied.
