Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens, black by Agata Kamia-Jabo ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

Lens on a solid 4. On the crop - an excellent portrait lens for the money, on a full frame - only as a staff member. MDF - 45 cm, if you wind the macro rings, you can shoot macro scenes without any problems. Different pros: - beautiful bokeh - luminosity - juicy colors - conveys volume and semitones well - versatility: you can shoot portraits and macro, with macro rings you can make an excellent macro lens - good sharpness, but only at f/2.2 - Ultrasonic autofocus motor, fast and silent - made in Japan Has cons: - weak construction - plastic - autofocus often misses on younger carcasses - no hood included - the trunk leaves when focusing from a minimum distance - it is very chromate on the open aperture, I recommend slightly clamping the aperture, up to 2 or 2.2 - the price due to the exchange rate for a new one bites, the price of such glass is 14-15 k no more
