The mat still will not lay flat after it was shipped folded. Placing the heavy on different parts of the mat for a few days did not help. Is have not tried soaking it in very hot water yet.Also, my cat will not go near the mat. The texture is large and it contains lots of little spike things that poke up and are uncomfortable when I stand on it. My cat hates it. She jumps over it when she leaves the box. This actually helps with the litter problem but I’m not going to make the litter box a miserable experience for my cat to reduce to frequency of vacuuming.
