I have been using Aquage Silkening Oil tx for 17 years now. I have thick colored hair. I don't apply it to the roots, but to all wet hair. The hair does not fluff, becomes silky, soft. I can still curl my hair with a curling iron, which just makes the oil penetrate deeper. Smells great. Sorry for the 1 star rating due to shipping. Very unfair to the product itself. Revain makes a great replacement. Things happen.
