- Made in China - PU Leather Although technically quite thick, it's really light and has a spongy feel. It's got some zest, like fried chicken for dinner. We just don't care about a spongy feeling in general. metal buckle. It's not scuffed or scratched but it had some scratches I guess from hanging around in the bag it came in. It was disappointing. It has a vertical seam 16 inches from the top. We have real leather straps. this size (54/56) which has no stitching so not sure why faux leather needs it. so 3 stars.
