Ceramic pot is everything
I used to have aluminum fondue sets and the heat output always left a lot to be desired. This ceramic pot is excellent. easy to clean in no time. keeps the heat even so the cheese doesn't thicken as you eat it. looks beautiful. I wish it had a longer cord with a more standard electrical connection instead of two round short pins that look like European connections, not in the US.
