I didn't know I needed this product. I only ordered it because I figured it should be in my inventory when I build, test, or repair my computers (I have four and have been building computers for over two decades). But I realized almost immediately that I really needed it. In fact, it's so useful I'm anticipating ordering a second one. It looks and feels impressively solid. I would have given five stars if there hadn't been a problem. When I first used it, some of the VGA pins were bent. I've been building computers since 1993 and it's been about 15 years since I bent a VGA pin, so I'm inclined to suspect that the pins on this cable are weak. However, I cannot rule out that it was just a temporary indiscretion on my part. With a thin, sharp knife I was able to bend the pins into shape and now I use the cable every day on one of my computers. A few stars off, but since there's a chance it was due to my own inattentiveness, I'll split the difference and only take off one star. All in all, this is an extremely useful cable that I will likely order again.
