I used this strapping system to keep tall hallway clock (grandpa style) from tipping over if bumped. Hall clocks are inherently unstable due to the ratio of their height to base area. Considering the distance is shorter than if the TV screen was attached, I omitted the quick release buckle and opted to secure the end of the strap with a heavy-duty screw through a metal fastener that installs in the "tail" of the Y is -belt mounting. (The hole in the clasp is visible in the photo.) The other ends (from the "Y" brackets) were screwed directly to the top of the watch case by removing the two existing screws and replacing them with slightly longer screws. Without a doubt, the strength of this attachment strap assembly is more than adequate for the task and should be sufficient for even the largest screens as long as you take care to ensure the ends are properly attached.
