I bought these to replace my standard Westcott kitchen scissors which I often lost, primarily for cutting packaging, six pack rings, shrink wrap on water trays etc. These are the sharpest and most durable scissors I have ever used. or used. I liked our regular Wescotts with four x six shrink loops. These guys cut like butter. Probably the best surprise is cutting through the sturdy plastic packaging of high-value items like razor blades and electronics, packaging specially designed to be difficult to break open. The only small drawback are the blades. thicker and bulkier, so when working with a sheet of paper it is better to use lighter scissors. I recommend them for any household that needs to cut boxes, plastic, packaging, etc.
