I bought two of these monitors so I can switch two HP 38" curved monitors between laptop and desktop. No need to constantly switch cables back and forth. They worked very well without any problems. It usually takes about 1-2 seconds to see the signal change, but the resolution and frame size are great. And I don't see the flickering. One thing I learned about a year ago is that if you have video problems connecting monitors to your computer, you shouldn't immediately blame the Switch controller. First, make sure your graphics card is powerful enough to handle the combined monitor resolutions. If you have two monitors, this is double the screen resolution of a single monitor for the graphics card to work with. This led to me replacing my pre-built HP desktop with one I created. This was my first home built computer. Commercial computers often use a power supply that has enough power to power everything. I wanted to install a new graphics card in my HP desktop, but the power supply didn't have enough power. It was only about 100 watts. I needed at least 400 watts. I thought. no problem. buy a more powerful power supply. Then I started reading about the branded PSU and that only HP would work. So I thought. Hm. maybe a more powerful power pack from HP. NO! The power supply in this computer was the only power supply that worked. Another power supply from the same manufacturer does not work either. I will never buy a computer out of the box again. I'll build mine from now on.
