These tools look impressive in photos and work in a pinch, but they are not top quality tools and are overpriced in my opinion. Pliers stick and snag when they first arrive, but a drop of sewing machine oil on each hinge will loosen them after a few minutes. The tips are not interchangeable and the tips get caught on the pliers. If they're too big for the locking ring you're working with, or the tip has snapped off, you're stuck. The case feels nice but takes up space in your tool bag and these pliers don't really need protecting when stored. As a replacement, I recommend using Channellock #927, 8" snap ring pliers. It's inexpensive, made in the USA, has replaceable tips.
