I do not recommend this device for several reasons. We've had this for 2 years and when we recently started working from home for the first time, we noticed a constant problem with WiFi dropping. Restarting the router doesn't solve the problem at all. We even asked our ISP (Spectrum) to come to the site and make sure everything is fine on their end. This means there is definitely something wrong with the router. Trying to work from home is almost impossible with this problem. The second issue is that for some reason it doesn't want to interact with my PS4. Wi-Fi only connects at very low speeds (15-35 Mbps) and it connects with NAT 3 β this means the connection is under-utilized and causing problems. I've tried changing settings, adding port forwarding, configuring DMZ, etc. but nothing will change this compared to NAT 3 when connected over Wi-Fi. Direct ethernet connection takes me from 15-35 MB/s to 190 MB/s. Keep in mind that the PS4 is in the same room as the router, so there shouldn't be any interference or other issues causing Wi-Fi related problems.
