Review on ๐Ÿพ Winix HR900, 5-Stage True HEPA Filtration Air Purifier for Pets, 300 Sq. Ft, White by Chris Perez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Winix, Boneco and Honeywell

Honeywell Bluetooth Smart AirGenius 6 Air Purifier/Odor Eliminator (Retail Price $419.95). The main filter is washable (a big plus), only the pre-filter needs to be replaced 4 times a year, each tub costs around $7. Very quiet, energy saving and Bluetooth/App. I had two Boneco Swiss air purifiers (P400 and newer P500), changing filters cost me $80-100 every 9-12 months, they are in a similar price range. $250-300, but after a few years it becomes more and more expensive to maintain. The Winix HR900 costs $305 at the time of this review. However, looking at the design, I prefer Boneco and Winix because the air intake is on the sides, the exhaust is on the back, and the air comes from the top of the device. Which really allows you to put it closer to the wall. The Honeywell device has an air intake at the center back and exhausts air at the center front of the device. Problem is you don't really want to put it against or next to a wall, it seems like it's inefficient. Winix is wider than Boneco and therefore takes up a little more space. Both options are suitable for large rooms. Both units have filter blocks, the Boneco has a hepa filter (various types that cost around $80 a year to replace) and the mesh pre-filter is washable. The Winix machine has several layers: a HEPA filter and a carbon filter, which consist of two separate parts (T size, which costs about $80 a year to replace), a pre-filter (washable) and, if you want, a fine filter for the home with pets. Animals. Particles (the kit contains 12 of these U size meshes, the price for a pack of 12 is $20).1. Maintenance costs: I prefer Honeywell, then Boneco, lastly Winix2. Energy Saving: Prefer Winix to Honeywell3. Versatility for room placement: choose Boneco and Winix4. Sound: Winix is very loud on Turbo setting, quieter than Boneco on high setting, Honeywell is very quiet.5. Big Rooms: Winix6. Houses with Pets: Winix Overall, the Honeywell is good if you have space to set it up away from a wall and don't mind the unit blowing air from the front. I prefer the Boneco in the bedroom as I don't have enough space to mount the unit away from the wall, I would trip over it. Winix would be much better in larger living spaces and in households with pets.
